Contract Manager
An exciting opportunity to join this established and highly successful environmental services business. Working as part of a close-knit and supportive leadership team, this role will drive excellence in fuel supply and contract management across key customers, ensuring high levels of service delivery, compliance and commercial value.
Key areas of focus include: managing end-to-end fuel supply contracts, ensuring legal and operational compliance; build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, hauliers, and operational teams; monitoring performance and implementing continuous improvement strategies; and taking ownership of managing all key customer relationships to ensure delivery to stakeholder and contractual requirements are met.
To succeed in this role, strong contract management experience is essential with strong consideration given to either an environmental services/waste management or logistics background. Proven experience in supplier/customer relationship management and complex contracts is a pre-requisite with demonstrable experience in delivering to stringent SLAs.
You will have a strong customer focus with excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills. With a high degree of financial acumen in terms of budgeting, forecasting, and P&L reporting, you will be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure. A driving licence is required with occasional travel across the local region. Hybrid working is available with 2–3 days in the office required, with strong career development and succession opportunities available.
