A purpose-driven business in Oxford is looking for a Contract Delivery Lead

Your new company
You will be joining a progressive organisation that is committed to designing and delivering services that truly meet the needs of the end users. Collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement are at the heart of their culture. They work closely with clients, service leads, and communities to create systems that flow smoothly, reduce waste, and deliver outcomes that matter.

Your new role
As a Contract Delivery Lead, you will act as the bridge between client commissioning teams and service delivery. Your focus will be on putting service users at the centre of decision-making, ensuring that commissioning processes enable rather than hinder service flow. You will build trust and collaborative partnerships, influence compliance frameworks to support learning and improvement, and work alongside service leads to remove systemic constraints. You will champion meaningful measures of success such as first-time resolution and client satisfaction, identify opportunities to optimise value by eliminating inefficiencies, and represent the business in client forums where discussions focus on purpose and performance.

What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you will bring proven experience in shaping services around customer purpose and delivering reliable outcomes. You will be confident managing complex workloads independently while maintaining quality and focus. Strong collaborative problem-solving skills will enable you to co-design solutions with colleagues and stakeholders, while excellent negotiation and influencing abilities will help you reshape commissioning arrangements. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as is the ability to act as a connector between client and service delivery. You will be digitally capable with Microsoft Office tools, resilient, curious, and committed to continuous improvement. Knowledge of project management methodologies and an understanding of systems thinking principles would be advantageous.

What you'll get in return
You will be offered a salary between £60,000 - £70,000 alongside a generous package and hybrid working arrangements. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in how local services are designed and delivered. In return, you will enjoy the chance to shape services that improve lives and deliver genuine value. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive environment that values learning and innovation, with opportunities for professional growth through exposure to complex systems and meaningful challenges. Most importantly, you will have the satisfaction of seeing citizens experience better, simpler, and more reliable services.
