About Us

This Vocational Training Centre is a leading institution dedicated to providing hands-on, practical training to students aspiring to enter skilled trades. Specialising in preparing learners for rewarding careers by offering real-world experience in motor vehicle maintenance and construction.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable instructor to deliver motor vehicle and construction training to our entry-level students. This is a full-time position (however would consider 2 part time options), with an official start date in 3 weeks, including a handover week to ensure a smooth transition.

You will be responsible for:
  • Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Demonstrating practical skills and guiding students through hands-on activities in motor vehicle and construction.
  • Assessing and supporting students in their journey towards competency in their chosen trade.
  • Ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and assess motor vehicle maintenance and construction principles.
  • Develop tailored lesson plans that cater to the needs of entry-level learners.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to help students achieve their educational and career goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a positive learning experience.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in motor vehicle maintenance and/or construction (industry experience and teaching qualifications not essential).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate students with practical, hands-on training.
  • Commitment to student success and a passion for vocational education.
  • A flexible, adaptable approach with the ability to start immediately.
