Your new company

You’ll be joining a well‑established construction organisation that is continuing to grow its commercial offering and client base. As part of this expansion, they are introducing a new Construction Sales / Business Development role to strengthen their presence across plant & tool hire, materials supply and wider construction services. The business is known for its reliability, long‑standing customer relationships and strong reputation within the industry.

Your new role

You’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, nurturing existing accounts and helping drive growth across plant and hire sales, or materials and hire sales. This is an office‑based position, working closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities, follow up on enquiries, build relationships and support the wider commercial strategy. The role is intentionally broad, giving you the freedom to shape your approach and contribute to how this new function develops.

What you’ll need to succeed

You’ll bring strong communication skills, confidence in speaking with customers and a genuine interest in the construction sector. Experience in plant & hire sales, materials & hire sales, or a related construction sales environment would be highly beneficial, though the organisation remains open to individuals with transferable skills and the right attitude. A proactive mindset, ability to build rapport and a desire to grow within a developing role will be key.
