Construction Planner required for Merseyside-based Construction business

Planner – Construction & Fit-Out Projects (Liverpool-Based)

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Construction Planner to join a growing team delivering Commercial, Retail, and Mixed-use developments across the North West

This role is based in Liverpool, and you’ll be involved in projects ranging from retail fit-outs and hospitality refurbishments to larger regeneration schemes and mixed-use developments

What you’ll be doing:

Developing and maintaining detailed project programmes using tools like Asta Powerproject or MS Project
Working closely with Project Managers, Design Managers, and site teams to ensure programmes are realistic and achievable
Monitoring progress, identifying risks, and proposing mitigation strategies
Supporting tender submissions and client reporting with clear, well-structured programme data
Supporting the commercial teams, to ensure that programming is sequenced with contractural and project costs
Liaising and supporting site teams to ensure up-to-date site planning and programming project works

What we’re looking for:

Experience in a planning role within construction, fit-out, or property development
Strong working knowledge of construction sequencing, critical path analysis, and programme risk management
Comfortable working across multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities
A collaborative mindset and clear communication style
Experience of working with a Main Contractor
