Construction Planner – MEH L5 - Nuclear Construction - Somerset

Construction Planner – Mechanical, Electrical & HVAC (MEH)
Location: Hinkley Point C, Somerset Sector: Nuclear / Major Infrastructure

Join one of the UK’s largest energy projects as a Construction Planner specialising in MEH (Mechanical, Electrical & HVAC) systems. You’ll develop and manage Level 5 construction schedules for complex installation works, ensuring seamless integration across multiple contractors and project interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain detailed construction schedules for MEH works.
  • Coordinate planning activities to optimise delivery sequences and resource allocation.
  • Monitor progress, update planning data, and produce accurate reports.
  • Support 4D/5D planning and digital tools for enhanced project delivery.
  • Champion safety and quality in all planning processes.
Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in construction planning for large-scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge of MEH systems, EPC processes, and scheduling tools.
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6, 4D/5D planning, and progress monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Nuclear or regulated environment experience desirable.
