Exciting opportunity for a Construction Associate or Senior Associate to join a top-tier UK law firm

Your new firm
Our client is a highly respected UK law firm with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional legal services across multiple sectors. Known for its innovative approach and supportive culture, the firm combines technical excellence with commercial insight. As part of its strategic growth plan, the firm is seeking an experienced Construction Associate or Senior Associate to join its dynamic team, with opportunities to be based in Bristol, Cheltenham, or Exeter.

Your new role
You will become part of a highly regarded Construction and Engineering team that advises regional, national, and international clients on complex, high-value projects. The focus of this role will be on non-contentious construction work, including drafting and negotiating contracts, appointments, and ancillary documents. You will act for both public and private sector clients across the construction supply chain, primarily on the employer/client side, and work on prestigious developments in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, health, education, and commercial property.
While the emphasis is on non-contentious matters, candidates with experience or interest in contentious work will also be welcomed. You will collaborate closely with Partners and senior lawyers, providing first-rate advice and managing day-to-day client relationships.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will have a solid background in Construction and Engineering law, ideally with experience in non-contentious matters. Familiarity with drafting and negotiating a variety of construction contracts would be highly beneficial. Strong communication skills and a proactive, commercial mindset will help you thrive in this role. You should feel comfortable handling complex projects and balancing priorities, and an interest in developing client relationships and contributing to business growth will be a real advantage.

What you’ll get in return
You will join a forward-thinking firm that values flexibility, collaboration, and professional growth. The firm offers a supportive and inclusive culture with clear career progression pathways, as well as access to innovative development programs designed to help you succeed. Flexible and hybrid working arrangements are available to suit your lifestyle, and you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects alongside leading experts in the field.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Construction lawyer looking to take the next step in their career within a market-leading team.
