Your new job working as a Construction Account Executive means you will be working for an independent, highly successful Chartered Insurance broking firm based in the heart of London. Your new company specialise in bespoke insurance solutions for Construction, Property Owners, Property Developers and Private Clients. With a wealth of experience in the UK insurance market, they pride themselves on building long-lasting client relationships. The company handles premium income into several millions per annum and, having grown consistently and significantly over the past fifteen years, is now recruiting to assist with future expansion. Due to expansion within their Construction team an excellent opportunity has arisen to join this company as a UK Construction Account Executive.
Your new role
Your new role as an Account Executive means that you will play a key role in maintaining service excellence in the placement and servicing of Construction Insurance, where this position offers the opportunity to work in a professional, established team. Your new job working as a Construction Account Executive is in an all-encompassing role working on UK Construction business, dealing with clients from inception to completion, working alongside a client Director, providing an excellent service, working on high spec new developments and a portfolio of projects. This varied and challenging position will be both client-facing and encompass the responsibility of broking to Insurers.
You will be responsible for forging strong business relationships with clients, loss adjusters and underwriters as well as contributing to growth through business development, leadership and product development by identifying cross-selling opportunities and requesting referrals and introductions.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as an Account Handler, Account Manager, Account Executive or Underwriter handling UK Construction will contribute to your success in securing this role. Experience in handling Owner-Controlled Insurance Programmes for Developers would be advantageous alongside knowledge or understanding of inherent defect insurance.
