Job Title: Computer Science/IT Teacher Job
Location: Leicestershire
Start Date: September 2025
End Date: July 2026Hays are working in partnership with a prestigious coeducational private boarding school. They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Computer Science / IT Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4.
The successful candidate will inspire and educate students in the field of Computer Science and IT lessons with full planning and marking responsibilities, preparing them for future academic and career success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality Computer Science/IT lessons to students.
- Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans.
- Assessing and evaluating student progress.
- Providing support and guidance to students.
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the curriculum.
Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science and IT or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
- Experience teaching computer science and IT at the secondary school level.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for education and student success.
