Computer Science / IT Teacher – Full Time (Temporary) | Bradford

Your New School:
A forward‑thinking and inclusive secondary education provider in Bradford is seeking a committed Computer Science / IT Teacher to join their team on a full‑time basis (5 days per week). Your New Role:
As a Computer Science / IT Teacher, you will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students build essential knowledge in coding, computational thinking, digital systems and applied ICT.

You will:
Plan and deliver high‑quality Computer Science / IT lessons
Foster a positive learning environment that promotes curiosity, resilience and progress
Assess, track and support students to achieve their potential
Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment where required
Bring fresh ideas, a strong technical understanding and a passion for teaching.
This role is full‑time, 5 days per week, and is offered on a temporary basis initially, starting after Easter.

ECTs are warmly welcomed to apply.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
To excel in this role, you should have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and/or ICT
Experience teaching KS3–KS4 (placements included for ECTs)
A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and positive behaviour management
Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire learners of all abilities
A proactive, reflective and solution‑focused approach to teaching
