A well-established secondary school in Coventry is seeking a skilled and committed Computer Science Teacher to join its team from September. This role offers the opportunity to teach a subject that is increasingly central to the curriculum, within a school that values strong classroom practice and thoughtful curriculum delivery.
The position is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking to develop their practice in a supportive environment.
The Role
- Teach Computer Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 may be available depending on experience)
- Deliver clear, well-structured lessons covering programming, computational thinking and digital systems
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement and progress
- Contribute to collaborative planning within the department
- Support pupils with a range of abilities to make consistent progress
What We’re Looking For
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✅ UK secondary school teaching experience
✅ Secure subject knowledge in Computer Science
✅ Confidence managing classrooms and maintaining a purposeful learning environment
✅ A reflective approach and willingness to contribute to departmental development
ECTs are welcome and will be supported through a structured induction and mentoring programme.
