Compliance and Platform Governance Manager

Assignment Type: Temporary, ongoing basis where you will be engaged via Hays
Location: Chichester
Working Environment: Hybrid, part office based on site at client offices/ part home based
Pay type: Competitive hourly pay rate

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Ensure all digital platforms adhere to minimum legal and compliance standards on an ongoing basis
  • Single point of contact within your department for compliance approval and processing
  • Uphold community guidelines on digital member’s app, offboarding where appropriate and ensuring robust process for ongoing monitoring
  • Act as the department representative within the business Compliance Committee – championing compliance and raising awareness within the department of necessary protocols
  • Act as the lead across the department to ensure all teams are working to the prescribed audit standards – ensure regular reminders of protocols
  • Responsible to lead your department through all relevant audit requirements
  • Work with stakeholders across the company, including global, UK and external parties where required
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure implementation of the measures of the Customer Data Governance in terms of customer data handling

Skills & Qualifications:
  • University degree (or equivalent professional qualification) in Business Administration, Economics or related field
  • 3-5 years’ of experience in a business steering division at a managerial level, such as Operations, Finance, Compliance, or similar
  • Experienced Lead Auditor, qualified to ISO 9001:2015
  • Experienced within GDPR and DPA regulatory requirements, ensuring safe customer data handing
  • Demonstrated strong stakeholder management
  • Proven ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • A strong awareness of identifying potential risks and proactively navigating around these in a compliant fashion which drives business success
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
