Compliance Administrator

Your new company

Hays are working with a renowned organisation who are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Compliance Administrator to join a Local Authority team on a temporary to permanent basis. This role is critical in supporting compliance processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring adherence to statutory and organisational requirements. Immediate availability is essential.

Your new role

As a Compliance Administrator, your role will involve:
  • Maintain and update compliance records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with audits and inspections by preparing accurate reports and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor and track mandatory training, certifications, and policy adherence across departments.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and in accordance with GDPR.
  • Respond to compliance-related queries via phone, email, and internal systems.
  • Support the wider HR and compliance team with administrative tasks, including data entry and filing.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure timely completion of compliance actions.

What you'll need to succeed

Essential:
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Immediate availability to start work.
Desirable:
  • Previous experience in compliance, HR, or local authority environment.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles.
