Exciting opportunity in a professional services firm, £65,000-£75,000

Your new company

Your new multinational company across 20 different companies is vastly growing. The company has a varied client portfolio and is constantly transforming. The work is unique, interesting and will offer you real responsibilities and challenges.

This client is looking for a Company Secretarial Manager in London. This position is a full-time role with hybrid working.

Your new role

As a Company Secretarial Manager, you will be contributing to the growth of the business and shaping it by delivering end-to-end services. This exciting role ensures you will be responsible for leading the delivery of listed PLC and IPO client engagements, providing expert advice on compliance, governance, and regulatory matters.

You’ll play a key role in business development, client relationship management, and the continuous improvement of service delivery tools and processes.
You’ll also mentor junior team members, support operational functions such as recruitment and finance, and ensure high standards of statutory and regulatory compliance. This includes preparing filings, managing shareholder meetings, drafting governance disclosures, and liaising with external advisors. You will need to be confident in coordinating board and committee annual evaluations.
Your work will directly support board and committee functions, maintain corporate registers and insider lists, and help shape the strategic growth of the governance business.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you need to have experience of corporate governance.

You will need to have a history of building client or stakeholder relationships, and an understanding of legal, regulatory and governance trends and developments. You’ll bring a proactive, independent, and goal-oriented mindset, complemented by strong communication, relationship-building, and organisational abilities. Attention to detail and the ability to manage workload and oversee the training and support of junior colleagues is a key part of this role.

It is not necessary but desirable to be a qualified member of CGI/ICSA, as well as have experience of managing direct reports. A positive attitude makes all the difference. If you're eager to learn and thrive in a dynamic, high-energy environment, this role would be the perfect fit for you.

What you'll get in return

If you're looking to thrive in a fast-paced, professional and rewarding environment where your creativity, initiative, and contributions are truly valued, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you.
