Company Secretarial Assistant

Your new opportunity

Join a fantastic FTSE250 company that is looking to hire a junior Company Secretarial Professional.

You’ll be joining a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative Company Secretariat team, split into two key areas: PLC Governance and Subsidiary Governance. This role sits within the Subsidiary Governance team, which supports UK and international legal entities in meeting their statutory and regulatory obligations. As the new Company Secretariat Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the governance of subsidiaries and branches. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure compliance, maintain statutory records, and support key governance processes. Examples of key responsibilities are: coordinating and preparing for subsidiary board meetings and corporate actions, managing filings, maintaining statutory records and the Group Structure Chart.

This role is fantastic for a charismatic part-qualified or recently qualified Company Secretary to join a welcoming and vibrant team. This could be an amazing first role in house from being in a professional services company, or a great step up for someone with a passion for governance and a roll the sleeves-up attitude.
