Community Services Programme Worker

Your new company

Working as part of a small team, Community Services Programme Workers will undertake sessions on the annual community-based programmes, as advertised.

Your new role

To run sessions in accordance with the planned programme, supervising a small group activity satisfactorily including setting out and putting away equipment.

When directed, to act as leader in charge of sessions where the Programme Co-ordinator is not present.

To participate in staff meetings/training sessions as appropriate.
To undertake any other appropriate duties as may be allocated from time to time in accordance with the general nature of the post.

9 x 3-Hour Sessions on various days and in various locations
Green Road CC, Bangor – 5pm-8pm Thursdays
Redburn CC, Holywood – 3pm-6pm Tuesdays and Thursdays
Ald George Green CC, Bangor – 5pm-6pm Mondays
Kilcooley CC, Bangor – 5.30pm-8.30pm Wednesday
Skipperstone CC, Bangor 5.30pm-8.30pm Fridays

Work with a range of young people in playwork settings in various locations. Deliver quality play opportunities to children attending our play clubs. I work with a range of staff & volunteers to programme and deliver play opportunities through a range of arts/crafts, games and informal educational activities.

What you'll need to succeed

1-year full-time youth/play work experience
3 years part-time play/youth work experience
Youth work, play work qualifications (desirable)
Crèche Worker as above
All at least Level 2 qualified.
