Communications Officer - Recruitment

This is a great opportunity to work with a publicly funded organisation within the busy Communications team to lead all recruitment related Communications activities.
Your new role
Reporting in to the Deputy Director of Communications and working alongside the organisation's Recruitment Consultants, you will take responsibility for developing lively, engaging copy for a range of substantive and temporary recruitment-related promotional activity, including creating copy for social media, campaign landing pages and other digital platforms; you will deliver appropriate paid advertising campaigns; develop creative briefs as required for external suppliers in support of recruitment activities; you will also develop proposals including costings for recruitment campaigns.
You will track and report the effectiveness of campaigns, identifying positive trends and opportunities for improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have prior experience of working in a recruitment related Marketing and/or Communications position with great planning abilities to work in line with recruitment cycles. You will have strong copywriting experience, with the ability to proofread and re-write job advertisements. You will have prior knowledge and experience of using paid advertising and the ability to track and report on the effectiveness of online campaigns using appropriate analytics tools.
What you'll get in return
£17.71 including Holiday Allowance. This is a temporary position for an initial two-month period but with the possibility for extension. The role can be worked full or part-time (minimum three days).
Flexible / hybrid working options are available, but there will be a requirement to travel around Bristol and the surrounding areas.
