Not-for-profit organisation involved in training and safety on a national scale with a specific focus on road safety.

Your new role

In this newly created position, the Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans to enhance the company’s brand, engage stakeholders, and support business objectives. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with excellent stakeholder management, writing and interpersonal skills.

You will:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies.
  • Manage and oversee all internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters, and social media content.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  • Handle media relations, including responding to enquiries and coordinating interviews.
  • Monitor and analyse communication metrics to measure effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Plan and execute events, webinars, and other promotional activities.
  • Manage the company’s online presence and ensure the website content is up-to-date and engaging.
  • Manage 3rd part support
  • Develop crisis communication plans and handle any communication-related issues that arise.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a communications role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

What you'll get in return

In addition, you will receive a salary of up to £45,000, a pension of up to 9% and 28 days holiday (plus bank holidays).
