12 month contract to support communications campaigns both external and internal
Your new company
My client is a leading non-profit organisation with an exceptional reputation for providing quality homes and excellent community services across Kent. We are partnering to recruit the newly created role of Communications Executive on a 12-month fixed-term contract to work hybrid from their offices in Sevenoaks, Kent.
Your new role
As Communications Executive, you will support the Communications & Marketing team in delivering key internal and external communications campaigns that engage with audience groups and reinforce key values and messages. You will support and run day-to-day campaign operations; planning and delivering communications campaigns across internal and external channels, including press releases, news stories, social media posts, copy for internal and external publications, customer letters, and campaign messaging. You will help maintain core comms channels, including social media, external websites and internal intranet. You will build relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, and whilst the role covers all elements of communications, your focus will mainly be on external channels, including PR, Social Media and Customer Comms.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of delivering corporate communications, including social media management, event management, internal comms and media relations. You will be confident in content generation and creating communications, with a strength in copywriting and an ability to utilise editing tools such as Canva and the Adobe Suite. Ideally you will have knowledge and experience of campaign execution, project management, and any exposure to crisis communications would be beneficial. You will also need strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, and build strong collaborative working relationships.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to £36,000 plus benefits including generous annual leave (25 days, increasing by a day each year, up to 5 years, plus 8 bank holidays, 3 days for Christmas closure and 3 volunteering days), a great pension scheme, health cash plan, and a host of other options to support wellbeing and personal development. The role will be based hybrid (2 days a week) from offices in Sevenoaks and be an initial 12-month fixed contract.
