An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and commercially focused Junior Commercial Property Solicitor (newly qualified up to 3 years’ PQE) to join a busy commercial property team in Newcastle. The successful candidate will gain exposure to high‑quality work and develop their skills within a supportive professional environment.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Handling secured lending transactions and property finance work (essential)
• Managing acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
• Drafting and negotiating leases on behalf of landlords and tenants
• Assisting with development matters, site acquisition & due diligence
• Supporting senior lawyers on complex or large-scale transactions

Suitable candidates will:

• Be qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ–3 PQE)
• Have demonstrable experience in secured lending work
• Be capable of managing a caseload with appropriate supervision
• Possess strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
• Be confident in building and maintaining client relationships
• Enjoy working collaboratively within a team setting
