We are seeking an experienced Commercial Expert with deep expertise in NEC4 contracts to support a leading consultancy on a high-profile programme. This interim role offers the opportunity to work on complex infrastructure and public sector projects, providing strategic commercial guidance and contract management expertise.

Your new role

• Lead the commercial management of NEC4 contracts across major programmes.
• Advise clients on contract strategy, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contract terms in line with NEC4 principles.
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and governance frameworks.
• Support cost management, forecasting, and performance reporting.
• Collaborate with project teams, legal advisors, and stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven track record in managing NEC4 contracts within infrastructure, construction or public sector environments.
• Strong understanding of commercial strategy, contract law, and procurement processes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver under pressure.
• Active SC Clearance would be advantageous.
