A respected financial services company is seeking a Collateral Transformation Lead to drive a multi-year transformation programme within its clearing services division. This is a senior-level role offering the opportunity to shape the future of collateral and liquidity management in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and shape both functional and non-functional requirements for the next-generation collateral platform.
  • Ensure the future collateral and liquidity framework aligns with internal objectives, industry benchmarks, and evolving best practices.
  • Represent the collateral function in programme engagements, acting as a bridge between transformation teams and subject-matter experts.
  • Drive external collaboration with clearing participants, regulatory bodies, and infrastructure partners.
  • Provide constructive challenge to internal decision-making, balancing operational efficiency with commercial goals.
  • Oversee regulatory alignment of the target platform, ensuring compliance with current and emerging standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams across risk, resilience, and enterprise functions to ensure holistic solutions.
Required Experience & Knowledge:
  • Extensive background in post-trade financial services, ideally within clearing, infrastructure, or consultancy environments.
  • Deep understanding of collateral and liquidity management within central counterparty frameworks.
  • Proven track record in developing or deploying clearing systems, whether bespoke or vendor-led.
  • Strong grasp of UK/EU regulatory landscapes affecting clearing operations.
  • Familiarity with operational resilience principles for financial market infrastructures.
  • Awareness of innovation in the collateral space, including digital asset trends.
