We have a requirement for a CNC Machinist with our engineering client in Newry.

The Company
A successful precision engineering company in the Newry area. This company manufacture for a few sectors including aerospace, medical device as well as a few others. Due to increased success they have a requirement to add to their CNC Team.

Your new role
As a CNC Machinist, you will perate and set CNC Milling Machines (3/5-axis) to meet production schedules. Ensure components are machined to technical drawings and correct tolerances. Perform quality checks as per job specifications. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and adhere to Health & Safety protocols. Work in compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, and SC21 standards.

What you’ll need to succeed
  • 2–3 years’ experience operating and setting 3/5-axis CNC Milling centres.
  • Strong knowledge of machining processes and tooling.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
