A leading precision engineering firm in Merseyside is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their growing team. This is a permanent opportunity offering long-term career development in a clean, modern facility with a strong order book and investment in technology.

Your new role

You’ll be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC machines (Fanuc/Heidenhain/Mazatrol) to produce high-spec components for sectors including aerospace, automotive, and energy. Working from technical drawings, you’ll ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards. The role involves both one-off and batch production, with a focus on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision engineering environment
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use measuring equipment
  • Experience with CNC turning or milling (multi-axis advantageous)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Flexibility to work shifts and overtime when required
