Join a leading Investment Bank as a Client Onboarding & Negotiation Specialist!

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Client Onboarding & Negotiation Specialist to join the Global Client Documentation team. In this role, you will negotiate derivatives master agreements and collateral agreements, working closely with business stakeholders, credit officers, legal teams, and external counsel. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage negotiations across a wide range of counterparties.

  • Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
  • Daily Rate: Inside IR35 (PAYE)
  • Contract Length: 6 Months
  • Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate master agreements including ISDA & ISDA CSA, Equity Prime Brokerage, FX Prime Brokerage, Repo, Stock Loan or Securities Lending Agreements, and OTC Clearing.
  • Work with a wide spectrum of counterparties such as banks, mutual funds, pension funds, hedge funds, corporates, and insurance companies.
  • Ensure optimal reduction of risk aligned with the bank’s credit and legal standards.
  • Liaise extensively with clients and their legal representatives, including participating in conference calls and meetings.
  • Partner with business teams, credit officers, legal departments, and external counsel to move negotiations forward.
  • Support the end-to-end documentation process within the Integrated Client Lifecycle Services team.
Key Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience negotiating traded product master agreements in an investment bank or buy-side firm.
  • Strong team player with flexibility and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong internal and external working relationships.
  • Ideally a degree in Law or equivalent qualification.
