Your new role

As a client manager, you will be responsible for the preparation and filing of year-end accounts and tax for a varied and exciting portfolio of clients. Your day-to-day duties will also include managing a portfolio of your own clients, carrying out all bookkeeping, VAT and management account duties to a high standard. Additionally, you will provide advisory services and valuable insights to clients helping to review processes and improve client efficiency. Alongside your accounts work, you will take a lead with the training of more junior and senior accountants within the firm, reviewing accounts prior to manager review. There is the additional opportunity to gain experience in other areas of the business such as some exposure to tax and corporate finance roles.

What you'll need to succeed

This organisation is seeking a professional client manager with plenty of experience working in an accounts team within practice. Experience in the preparation of statutory, management, VAT, and tax accounts for a mixed portfolio of clients and exposure to managing juniors will help you to succeed in this role. Ideally, you will be ACA/ACCA qualified with 5+ years of practice experience. The organisation is looking for an individual with excellent teamwork and communication skills, helping to build a strong client rapport and maintain successful client relationships by providing impactful advice. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn and expand upon their own skillset as an audit professional.
