Client Account Manager, Basingstoke, Permanent, 2 Days Hybrid Working, £45K PA

As a Client Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing long-term customer relationships, ensuring clients receive the best‑in‑class experience. No two days will be the same, and you will work closely with key internal stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and deliver exceptional service.
Your Role – Client Account Manager
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Client Relationship Management
  • Developing and nurturing long-term client relationships
  • Acting as the main point of contact for key accounts
  • Understanding client needs and aligning solutions to meet their objectives
  • Ensuring a seamless, positive customer journey from end to end
Strategic Planning & Delivery
  • Translating business strategy into clear, prioritised, and achievable plans
  • Making informed trade‑off decisions when time, budget or capacity constraints arise
  • Challenging activity that is misaligned with agreed strategy or unlikely to deliver meaningful value
  • Supporting long-term account growth through proactive planning and communication
Event & Sponsorship Coordination
  • Planning and managing major events, sponsorships, and client engagements
  • Ensuring all activities are delivered to a high standard and in line with strategic objectives
Performance & Analytics
  • Demonstrating a strong analytical mindset focused on performance, pipeline influence and ROI
  • Reviewing data to provide insight, recommendations, and actions to improve outcomes
  • Monitoring account activity and identifying opportunities for growth or optimisation
About You
Our client is seeking an experienced Client Account Manager who can demonstrate:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence presenting insight and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Professional credibility and sound judgment, aligned to a corporate client environment
  • The ability to build trust, influence decisions and foster long-term client partnerships
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
