Your new role

Contract Type: Temporary (Approx. 3 Months)
Start Date: Monday 13th October 2025
Hours: Full-time – 40 hours/week (Monday to Friday)
Shift Pattern: 07:30–16:00 (flexible to 08:30–17:00 if required)
Lunch Break: 1 hour (can be reduced to 30 minutes if preferred)
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (to be confirmed)

  • Full training will be provided on-site.
  • This role is being advertised as full-time, but hours may be reduced to 37/week if needed.
  • Flexibility in start and finish times can be accommodated

  • Daily cleaning of:
    • Student rooms
    • Communal hallways and landings
    • Shared bathrooms
    • Office spaces
    • Laundry areas
  • Operating washing machines for mattress protectors and other laundry items
  • Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across all areas
  • Reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
  • Following health and safety protocols and cleaning procedures

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Friendly and professional attitude
  • Willingness to undergo training (no handover provided)
  • Basic DBS
