Your new company

You will be working within a well-established 55+ residential scheme in Oxford (Fernleigh), supporting residents by helping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The organisation is committed to providing high-quality housing and services for older people, with a strong focus on community and wellbeing.

Your new role

As a Temp Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the scheme is cleaned and maintained to a high standard. You will support the House Manager with day-to-day tasks such as testing fire alarms, managing guest rooms, and reporting repairs or maintenance issues. You will also act as a visible staff presence on the scheme and a point of contact for residents.


This is a temporary position for 3–4 weeks, working 26 hours per week, with flexible hours between 8:00am and 5:00pm, and the potential for the role to be extended.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
  • Previous cleaning experience
  • A full UK driving licence
  • The ability to work independently and use your own initiative
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your workload
  • A reliable and professional approach
