School Cleaner/Caretaker Required - Blackpool - Start ASAP

Your new role

This role involves working within a number of schools in the Blackpool area, supporting both cleaning and light caretaking duties. You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the premises, while also assisting with basic site maintenance and security tasks. The ideal candidate will be flexible, trustworthy, and able to work independently.

This is a part-time position, working 4–5 hours per day, Monday to Friday. The role is ongoing and available for an immediate start. A DBS on the update service would be highly advantageous.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Cleaning Duties: Daily cleaning of classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas to ensure a hygienic and welcoming environment.
  • Site Security: Helping with opening and closing procedures, ensuring buildings are secure and ready for use.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Following school policies and procedures, including safe use of cleaning materials and equipment.
  • Stock Monitoring: Checking and reporting cleaning supply levels to ensure resources are maintained.
  • Team Collaboration: Working alongside site managers and school staff to support the smooth running of the premises.
