Your new firm
Our award-winning Top 50 firm has been a remarkable success story in recent years. Having expanded significantly throughout the last decade, their strategically important and ambitious Bristol office continues to grow at a rapid pace, winning significant clients along the way.
Your new role
The firm boasts a highly regarded Energy and Construction team that works across this firm’s network of national offices, acting both domestically and internationally at the cutting end of decarbonisation and investment in clean energy. Having made significant advances in this exciting sector they are now looking to recruit an experienced Construction or Projects lawyer with a passion for clean energy to join their award-winning Bristol team.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside leaders in this sector on cross-border clean energy projects for some of the world’s leading operators. This is an opportunity to join this dynamic team at a time of significant investment where you can forge the next stage of your career with clear board support and backing.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an established Construction or Projects lawyer used to working on large-scale construction projects, ideally with a focus on clean energy or renewables.
You will ideally have experience of handling a mix of project work around various clean energy technologies, potentially including any of BESS, solar, hydrogen and wind, to EV charging/ district heating infrastructure work. While demonstrable experience in this sector would be advantageous, interest from Construction or Projects lawyers with a broader background but a clear passion for this area would also be of interest.
What you'll get in return
Ambitious and entrepreneurial, this firm are great at supporting and fast-tracking lawyers with flair who share their ethos. With a growing caseload of industry-leading work awaiting, this role presents as a fantastic opportunity to develop your Clean Energy career with a market leader. There is plenty of headroom for progression through to partnership for the right candidate and the support around you to back you.
With both flexible and hybrid working options available, this is a great opportunity that would suit full or part-time lawyers, and those already in the Southwest or those looking to relocate to the Southwest in the future.
