Job Title: Class 1 HGV Driver
Contract Type: Permanent
Type of Employment: Full Time
Total Weekly Contractual Hours: 48 over a 4 on 4 off shift pattern
Location: Cliniwaste Health South Ltd, unit 1 Crossgate Drive, Queens Industrial Estate, Nottingham, NG2 1LW.
Requirement: Class 1 HGV Licence, ADR

We are committed to reducing the environmental impact of waste disposal and helping our clients improve their waste management practices.

Role responsibilities:
  • In transport operations, safely transporting waste to disposal sites on assigned routes and schedules is paramount,
  • Daily vehicle checks are essential to maintain optimal working conditions, with prompt reporting of any issues,
  • Providing excellent customer service during collections is crucial, alongside meticulous documentation of deliveries for accountability,
  • Adherence to regulations ensures safety and compliance, while effective communication within the team facilitates smooth coordination and issue resolutions.

What we are looking for:
  • Applicants must hold a clean UK driver's licence, ADR Class 6,
  • Driver Qualification Card and Digital Driver Card and demonstrate reliability for the driver role,
  • While prior experience is preferred, it's not mandatory,
  • Physical fitness is crucial for lifting heavy items safely, and punctuality is key.
  • Moreover, a client-focused approach and a strong emphasis on safety are integral aspects of the job.
