Hays is working in partnership with a local council to recruit a Claims Handler to support a busy team within the Finance Directorate. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, detail ‑ focused, and confident about handling incoming enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Responding to initial claim enquiries
- Monitoring and managing the shared inbox
- Ensuring accurate logging and updates of claim information
- Providing general administrative support to the finance team

- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to manage workload effectively
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Experience of working in a claim handler environment
