Your new role
In your new role as Civils Supervisor, you will manage the safe and efficient delivery of surfacing works across multiple sites.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee day‑to‑day site operations and support Contracts Managers with planning
Lead on‑site teams, delivering daily briefings and maintaining clear communication
Order materials and equipment to ensure smooth project delivery
Monitor progress, conduct site inspections and ensure quality standards are met
Complete daily reports and address any issues affecting programme or performance
Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
What you'll need to succeed
Experience as a Supervisor within surfacing, highways or civil engineering
Construction Management qualification (desirable)
SMSTS (minimum SSSTS)
Valid CSCS card
Strong experience in asphalt, road‑laying or civils operations
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
