This consultancy is engaged in various projects across the retail, residential, industrial, and roads/highways sectors. They handle schemes from the feasibility stage through to completion, offering input at each phase and crafting solutions for their clients. The company is proud of its work on sporting projects and is amongst the few qualified Road Safety Auditors in Northern Ireland. As the client continues to expand and grow, they need an additional Civil Engineer to join their team to maintain the high quality of service they provide.

Your new role
Due to an increase in workload, a need for a new experienced Civil Engineer has arisen. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on a variety of projects, including roads, residential, water, retail, infrastructure, and leisure.
Some of the key responsibilities of a civil engineer will require you to be able to prepare and review analysis & design calculations, prepare technical and pre-planning reports, co-ordinate projects & packages of work with minimal assistance, attend site and design team meetings. You will use multiple civil engineering software packages such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D and Microdrainage to help develop detailed designs for new developments, using your skills to effectively design upcoming projects across Northern Ireland.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for the civil engineering role, you must have a degree in a Civil Engineering discipline, preferably with 2 years’ work experience.
However, this role is open to candidates of all levels. You must have experience in AutoCAD, Micro Drainage, Civil 3d or other Civil/Structural Engineering design software.

Candidates with HNC/HND Civil Engineering qualifications will also be considered but would need to be able to demonstrate valuable working experience in a similar role.
The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, as well as possess a strong attention to detail.

This is a full-time office job with working hours from Monday to Thursday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and early Friday finish until 4:00 pm
