Residential Support Workers needed for children's home shift cover
Your new company
Your new role
You will be providing shift cover when needed across the 6 children's homes, although the service does try to match you to the home that best suits your experience and will try where possible to give you shifts at that home, both to allow you and the young people the consistency to build positive relationships.
What you'll need to succeed
- A minimum qualification of L3 in Children and Young People - this is essential
- Experience and willingness to get involved and be a proactive member of the team, taking part in activities
- Experience of dealing with challenging behaviour
- Be passionate about supporting young people and giving them the best chances
- Excellent communication both with service users and staff
- If you've lived overseas since the age of 18, an Overseas Police Check will need to be presented.
