Your new school
The role would working for a charity that is responsible for working with vulnerable children and families. This role would be based in Children’s centres around the south of Birmingham as an Admin Manager. The role is to start as soon as possible and will be from Monday to Friday, 9.00 am -5.00 pm each day and will be an all year round role. Initially on a temporary basis whilst they try and recruit permanent for the role. The role is to start as soon as possible.

Your new role

The role is a pressurised role where you will be responsible for overseeing 1 Children’s Centre. The role will require strong people management skills as you will be managing a small team with 2 administrators. You will be responsible for line management, including one to ones. You will also be responsible for the smooth running of the centres, ensuring all training and procedures are up to date, managing petty cash for the centre’s and supporting with HR procedures. You will also ensure maintenance of the building is carried out by the correct staff and other health and safety procedures

This is an organisation that does a lot of work with vulnerable children and families and has gone through a lot of change over the last 12 months. They require an individual that is passionate about working in this sector with strong administration and proven people management skills.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have experience of leading office based administrative services, with proven people management experience. You will also have proven experience of IT systems and the use of information as a management tool including MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, publisher or similar packages. You must be a resilient individual. You will also have recent experience in a similar field that Hays can obtain satisfactory references for you. You will also have an enhanced DBS check.
