Your new role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Professional Services Category Manager to lead the strategic sourcing and category management of a diverse portfolio, including consultancy, legal, financial, and HR services. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping procurement strategy, driving efficiencies, and ensuring compliance with public sector regulations (PCR15 and PA23).
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in category management within professional services, ideally in a public sector setting
Strong knowledge of UK public procurement regulations (PCR 2015)
Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
MCIPS qualification or working towards (desirable)
A proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused mindset
