Your new role

You will manage the end-to-end procurement of software and infrastructure contracts, driving value and aligning with business goals. This includes developing category strategies, negotiating contracts, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, monitor supplier performance, and hold vendors accountable. Staying informed on industry trends and regulations like FCA, PRA, and DORA will be key. You’ll also identify opportunities for cost savings and improvements, managing complex projects and providing clear updates to senior leadership.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need strong commercial insight and executive presence, with the ability to adeptly navigate complex regulatory frameworks within financial services (such as FCA, PRA, DORA). International experience is advantageous, and significant exposure to Cloud, Infrastructure, and Software contracts will be highly valuable. Confidence and strong influencing skills are essential, particularly when holding providers accountable for underperformance. You should also be able to clearly showcase examples of managing complex deals that align with these criteria.
