The firm acts for a broad range of insurer and corporate clients and is recognised for its expertise in handling complex, high-value catastrophic injury claims. Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Associate to join its specialist Catastrophic Injury team.

Your new role

• Managing a caseload of complex catastrophic injury matters.
• Handling high-value motor, EL and PL claims on behalf of insurer clients.
• Advising on liability, causation, quantum and litigation strategy.
• Managing claims involving serious and life-changing injuries.
• Working closely with insurers, experts, counsel and other stakeholders.
• Supporting business development and strengthening client relationships.
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members where appropriate.
• Contributing to the continued growth and success of the practice.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with significant experience handling defendant catastrophic injury claims.
• Significant experience within catastrophic injury litigation.
• Strong background in motor, employer's liability and/or public liability claims.
• Extensive experience managing high-value and complex injury matters.
• In-depth understanding of future losses and quantum assessment.
• Excellent technical, drafting and analytical skills.
• Strong client management and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
