Your new role
This Catastrophic Loss Associate role will see you:
- Support investigation and management of high‑value catastrophic injury cases.
Work with senior colleagues in a top‑ranked catastrophic injury team - Handle and assist with motor, EL/PL, and sport‑related claims, including sensitive matters.
- Manage both pre‑litigation and litigated files
- Conduct cross‑border quantum investigations where required.
- Engage with clients such as major insurers and corporates.
- Assist with cases involving brain, spinal, chronic pain, and other large loss injuries.
- Contribute to business development activities and client interactions.
- Support negotiation and settlement discussions.
What you'll need to succeed
- 2+ years’ qualification as a UK Solicitor or CILEX with relevant experience.
- Litigation experience in catastrophic injury defence work.
- Prior client contact and experience attending business development events.
- Demonstrated negotiation experience.
- Ability to assist with motor, EL/PL, and complex injury claims.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting large or complex cases within a team environment.
