Our client is a Top 100 firm that has been ranked in Band 1 for Personal Injury work by Chambers and Partners as well as Legal 500. They are currently recruiting for a catastrophic injury paralegal to join their Manchester office. Applicants would initially be required to be fully office-based before moving to 2 days working from home per week. The firm's office is based in Manchester city centre and is easily accessible by public transport.

Your new role
This Catastrophic Injury Paralegal role will see you:
- Assist senior colleagues in managing a diverse caseload involving brain injury, spinal cord injury, and amputation claims
 - Draft clear and comprehensive witness statements
 - Attend conferences with counsel and medical experts, and producing detailed notes
 - Prepare and review court documentation
 - Obtain, analyse, and organise medical and other relevant records
 - Evaluate medical reports to support case strategy
 - Conduct legal research on liability and quantum issues
 - Communicate with clients to provide updates and maintain engagement
 - Draft instructions for medical experts and counsel
 - Prepare court bundles for hearings
 - Manage billing processes and handle disbursement payments
 
What you'll need to succeed
- Applicants must have a minimum of 12 months experience in personal injury and catastrophic injury claims.
 - Strong team-working and communication skills.
 - Strong academic background.
 - Excellent client care skills.
 - Ability to complete work set by senior team members to a high standard.
