Your new role

• Short- and medium-term cash flow management for multiple entities.
• Investment of surplus funds and development of foreign currency hedging facilities.
• Daily banking operations, including processing BACS payments (payroll and suppliers), foreign payments, CHAPS, cheques, and petty cash.
• Full bank reconciliations and submission of statutory returns (VAT and Intrastat).
• Providing VAT advice to the business and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Monitoring and improving financial control procedures and supporting ERP treasury processes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in financial accounting and cash management.
• Strong understanding of VAT rules and compliance requirements.
• Ability to perform detailed reconciliations and apply sound financial controls.
• Analytical and forecasting skills for cash flow and foreign currency transactions.
• Proficiency in payment systems (e.g., BACS) and ERP platforms such as SAP.
