Job Title: Joiner / Carpenter
Location: Primarily London, with travel across mainland GB & Ireland Contract:
Permanent, full time
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:40am–5:20pm (40 hours min) + shared on‑call rota

About the Role
We’re seeking skilled and motivated Joiners / Carpenters to support maintenance and fit out operations across a growing network of healthcare clinic sites. This role is varied, hands‑on and ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of site joinery, shopfitting, and general building maintenance.
You’ll work closely with the Maintenance and Facilities teams, travelling regularly to existing sites as well as new clinic fit outs across the UK and Ireland. Accommodation is provided where required for non‑commutable sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out 1st & 2nd fix joinery, dry lining, ceilings, and general fit-out tasks
  • Support maintenance across multiple sites, ensuring high quality work
  • Raise material requisitions and maintain accurate stock records
  • Liaise daily/weekly with the Facilities Supervisor
  • Assist subcontractors during planned or reactive maintenance
  • Ensure works comply with current Building & Planning policies
  • Perform monthly site walk arounds and log maintenance requirements
  • Complete all job sheets weekly for scheduling
  • Adhere to Health & Safety requirements, ensuring correct PPE use
  • Perform monthly H&S checks on all equipment

What you’ll need to succeed

Essential:
  • Fully qualified joiner with strong on site experience
  • Experience across building sites and commercial fit-out environments
  • Proficient in 1st & 2nd fix joinery, dry lining, ceilings.
  • Confident using hand and power tools
  • Physically able to lift, carry and work in all weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written instructions
  • Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:
  • Previous team leading experience
  • Shopfitting or shopping centre experience
  • Strip out and refit experience
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • First Aid (advantageous)
