About the Role
As a Carpenter, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the school’s facilities. Working across the campus, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of carpentry tasks, from repairing furniture and fittings to constructing new items and supporting refurbishment projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintenance of furniture, joinery, and associated ironmongery.
  • Construction and installation of items such as shelves, doors, partitions, and noticeboards.
  • Carrying out inspections and planned preventative maintenance.
  • Monitoring stock levels and ordering materials as required.
  • Liaising with internal teams and external contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Supporting small projects and contributing to process improvements.
  • Maintaining clean and organised workshops and carpentry stores.
  • Providing guidance to less experienced colleagues when needed.
