Own reporting and governance across a major capital portfolio. Circa £60,000, hybrid West Yorkshire.

We’re recruiting on behalf of a major organisation for a Capital Programme Reporting Manager to play a key role in a growing PMO. You’ll provide the insight and governance that enables confident, timely decisions across a large, multi‑year capital investment portfolio. If you’re passionate about creating a single, trusted view of performance—and you enjoy turning complex data into clear, actionable reporting—this could be for you.

What you’ll do:

  • Own monthly programme reporting, delivering consistent, accurate analysis across cost, schedule, risk and delivery performance
  • Coordinate baseline and year‑on‑year monitoring of the capital business plan, ensuring alignment to strategy and obligations
  • Lead programme governance for both capex and opex pipelines, supporting approval forums with high‑quality information and challenge
  • Provide portfolio visibility of opportunities and risks, highlighting trends and recommending interventions
  • Work closely with finance, planning and delivery teams to maintain one version of the truth for investment assurance
  • Support project managers with guidance on standards, data quality and PMO best practice
What you’ll bring:

  • Strong knowledge of programme/project lifecycles and PMO reporting in capital environments
  • Proven experience producing clear executive‑level insights from complex financial and non‑financial datasets
  • Confidence leading governance activity and contributing to approval forums
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills
  • Analytical mindset, high integrity and a continuous improvement approach
Desirable:

  • PMO/Project qualifications (e.g. APM, PMO Practitioner)
  • Experience of investment decision‑making within large portfolios
  • Background in regulated or complex multi‑stakeholder organisations
Why apply:

  • Competitive salary with bonus and car allowance
  • Private healthcare, generous pension and flexible benefits
  • Hybrid working and supportive culture
  • Opportunity to shape reporting and governance across a major long‑term programme
