This is a key role within the financial management team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of the fixed asset register across multiple entities.

Your new role

You will lead the end-to-end management of fixed assets, including tracking, depreciation, disposals, and capital project accounting. You’ll work closely with finance and operational teams to ensure timely postings, audit readiness, and strategic capital planning.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining the global fixed asset register, ensuring accurate recording of additions, transfers, and disposals.
  • Calculating and posting monthly depreciation in line with IFRS and internal accounting policies.
  • Monitoring capital project spend and ensuring timely and accurate capitalisation.
  • Preparing monthly fixed asset reports and reconciling the register to the general ledger.
  • Ensuring full compliance with IFRS/local GAAP and internal asset capitalisation policies.
  • Taking a lead role in CAPEX projects

What you'll need to succeed

  • Fully qualified accountant with 5+ years’ experience in fixed asset or capital accounting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and fixed asset accounting standards.
  • Proven experience managing capital projects and depreciation schedules.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle R12 FA module or similar).
  • Excellent reconciliation and reporting skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Collaborative mindset and resilience in a fast-paced environment
