CAD Technician, Belfast, Facilities Management Consultancy, Estate Planning, Surveying, Development. £30,000

Your new company

Hays Northern Ireland are delighted to be working with a global Facilities Management provider to source a CAD Technician for their Belfast team. This role will play an instrumental part in the delivery of projects and planned maintenance works for a small selection of this organisation’s key clients.

Your new role

This is a permanent job based in Belfast working a fully flexible hybrid office/home set up.
As part of the Property Services division, you will work alongside a highly experienced and skilled team of Surveyors, Engineers, Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Construction PMs and Maintenance Managers who will support and mentor you in this role and with your career development.
This position plays a key part in transforming a unique and complex estate into a smarter, safer and more sustainable environment. As a CAD Technician, you’ll help build the digital foundation of the estate — maintaining accurate drawings, spatial information, asset records, BIM data and supporting the development of Digital Twins. Your work turns building data into meaningful insights that drive better decisions, investment planning and long-term transformation. This is a hands-on, tech-focused role where detail, curiosity and collaboration directly shape the future of the estate.

A recognised qualification in AutoCAD
Confidence working with complex, multi-layered CAD drawings.
Strong knowledge of CAD standards and quality assurance.

Knowledge of BIM processes and standards (ideally Level 2).
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly for site visits.

What you'll get in return

The salary will be £30,000 with small tolerance to negotiate based on your qualifications and relevant experience.
This organisation offers an unrivalled list of employee benefits which include
Annual bonus of up to 5% of salary
Flexible benefits allowance of £1,300
Access to our on-site gym
Wide range of healthcare, financial and mental health benefits and support
Online retailer discounts with c.2,000 high street brands
Free parking
Excellent career development and progression opportunities with paid professional memberships
