CAD Design Engineer - Site based (AWE)

Job Title: 3D / 2D CAD Site Engineer - Design
Location: UK-based site (details on application)
Rate: £50–£55 per hour (Outside IR35)
Contract Type: Contract

We’re working with a major engineering services provider delivering complex infrastructure projects across regulated sectors including nuclear, energy, and pharmaceuticals. They’re seeking a CAD Site Engineer to support electrical design integration and drawing validation across multi-disciplinary teams.

This role involves working closely with design engineers and project managers to ensure outsourced designs meet specification, supporting technical coordination, and contributing to project delivery.

Key Highlights:

Use AutoCAD MEP, Plant 3D, NAVIS Works, and Point Cloud data to produce and review construction drawings
Raise and resolve technical queries, support factory acceptance testing, and assist in scheduling and coordination

Candidate Profile:

HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering
Eligible for SC clearance and holds a CSCS card
Experience in highly regulated industries preferred
Strong understanding of safety standards and technical documentation
