We have a requirement for a CAD/CAM Programmer

Your new company

Almost 10 years in the design and manufacturing of top class products. With an expanding client list and a rising reputation, they are pushing boldly forward with their mission to become global leaders in manufacturing excellence. They are currently seeking to recruit a CAD/CAM Programmer.


Your new role

As Programmer you will be required to utilise Open Mind, HyperMill machining software to import and convert designs into manufacturing data for the programming of CNC machinery and produce clear documentation to support the production department. Identify raw material requirements and work effectively with production team members to ensure effective implementation of new projects. You will provide technical and problem solving advice regarding materials, machinery and production systems. In conjunction with the Company Directors, ensure all production is carried out in strict compliance with company quality requirements and that quality standards are continuously monitored and improved. Provide technical support to the production team on a day to day basis including the effective communication of company information.


Hours of work:
Mon - Thurs 8am - 4.30pm and Friday earlier finish
40 hr week

What you'll need to succeed

You will ideally have 3 years experience in a similar role as a CNC Programmer. You will have experience in problem solving and continuous improvement. Ideally you will have experience using hypermill. You will also be competent reading engineering drawings.
